That was powerful and unfortunately very tru...Wow! That was powerful and unfortunately very true. How can people fight for a country that they do not truly love. People exist here. They live the "free" life but have no real respect or understanding at what it takes to keep the country that way. Freedom is a word that they take for granted and as long as the country keeps going the way it is, it will lose it's meaning in no time at all. When I see a flag or hear the National Anthem it isn't just a bit of material or music to listen to. It's knowing that I live where I can do what I want, when I want, and with who I want with in reason of course. It's knowing that many lost their lives for my freedom. It's knowing the true "history" of this nation and what it was founded on.<BR/><BR/>I'm not sure people realize that unless you truly love and respect this country with your whole heart, that freedom and the very value of it, means nothing and will continue to mean nothing for generations to come!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
