Royal Douche 06.13.10

The Winner: Wilder Publications

The Reason: Placing warning labels on copies of the US Constitution, Declaration Of Independence, and Federalist Papers that read:

"This book is a product of its time and does not reflect the same values as it would if it were written today.might wish to discuss with their children how views on race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and interpersonal relations have changed since this book was written before allowing them to read this classic work."

This is yet another libtard attempt to belittle these important documents to forward a progressive social/political agenda. Too bad people could actually see through this effort.

A Place To Rob

Oregon Police Officer Asked to Leave Vegan Coffee Shopp

The Red & Black Cafe is no place for a man in blue.

Police Officer James Crooker was asked to leave the vegan coffee shop in Portland, Ore., last month, a discriminatory move but not altogether uncommon at the java joint, a detective told FoxNews.com.

Crooker, 36, a 2-year veteran of the force, entered the Red & Black Café on May 18 and bought a cup of coffee before a customer approached him and said she appreciated his efforts.

That's when John Langley, one of the co-owners of the collectively managed shop, approached the cop and asked him to leave.

Crooker left immediately. It was the first time something like this has happened to him in his nine-year law enforcement career, he told The Oregonian newspaper.

"The places that I've been kicked out of before have been places like the methadone clinic," he said. "You're there to protect them, but on the other hand they don't know what that involves. Being gracious is part of it."

Detective Mary Wheat, a spokeswoman for the Portland Police Department, characterized the incident as a "fluke" but noted the city's ongoing tension between the police and some members of the community.

"This is Portland," Wheat told FoxNews.com. "We have been dealing with that for years and years and years. It's a very liberal city. We have anarchists here and we deal with them on a regular basis."

The coffee shop attracts homeless individuals and activists, the newspaper reported, and Wheat said it is known to be "not friendly" to officers who work the area.

"Most officers would know that this is not a coffee shop that's friendly to police," she said. "It's obviously discrimination to police. He works that area and he can't go in for a cup of coffee -- it's not fair."

The customer who approached Crooker, Cornelia Seigneur, is a freelancer for The Oregonian who blogged about the incident on her website.

"As I spoke with the café owner, I really never got a direct answer as to why he personally felt unsafe with a police officer in his establishment," Seigneur wrote. "Bottom line, I think especially of the policeman I met at the red and black, Officer James Crooker, a human being who should be treated with respect and honor, like all human beings."

Neither Crooker nor Langley could be reached for comment on Friday. An employee who answered the phone at the Red and Black café declined to discuss the incident.

"I've been taking calls about this all day and I'm kind of tired of talking about it," the employee said. "I have a regular job."

Royal Douche 04.15.10

Jason Levin

The first Royal Douche Award goes to Jason Levin a middle school teacher in Oregon. Instead of debating the issues with the growing Tea Party movement, he is taking a typical libtarded approach. Instead of teaching our kids properly, he is putting much of his energy to disrupt the Tea Party movement as opposed to debating them like a man. He even had the energy to come up with a website called "Crash the Tea Party". It encourages those libtards opposed to the ideas of the Constitution to join the Tea Party organization, and act stupid in an effort to give the movement a bad reputation. I would call this juvenile, except that would place him in the same category as my own kids, which he is not. For this, he has earned the title Royal Douche.

Featured Douche 03.04.09

The Winner: Professor Paula Anderson of CCSU.

The Reason: Calling the police on a student who merely made a pro-gun rights presentation.

The Story:

Professor Called Police After Student Presentation

For CCSU student John Wahlberg, a class presentation on campus violence turned into a confrontation with the campus police due to a complaint by the professor.

On October 3, 2008, Wahlberg and two other classmates prepared to give an oral presentation for a Communication 140 class that was required to discuss a “relevant issue in the media”. Wahlberg and his group chose to discuss school violence due to recent events such as the Virginia Tech shootings that occurred in 2007.

Shortly after his professor, Paula Anderson, filed a complaint with the CCSU Police against her student. During the presentation Wahlberg made the point that if students were permitted to conceal carry guns on campus, the violence could have been stopped earlier in many of these cases. He also touched on the controversial idea of free gun zones on college campuses.

That night at work, Wahlberg received a message stating that the campus police “requested his presence”. Upon entering the police station, the officers began to list off firearms that were registered under his name, and questioned him about where he kept them.

They told Wahlberg that they had received a complaint from his professor that his presentation was making students feel “scared and uncomfortable”.

“I was a bit nervous when I walked into the police station,” Wahlberg said, “but I felt a general sense of disbelief once the officer actually began to list the firearms registered in my name. I was never worried however, because as a law-abiding gun owner, I have a thorough understanding of state gun laws as well as unwavering safety practices.”

Professor Anderson refused to comment directly on the situation and deferred further comment.

“It is also my responsibility as a teacher to protect the well being of our students, and the campus community at all times,” she wrote in a statement submitted to The Recorder. “As such, when deemed necessary because of any perceived risks, I seek guidance and consultation from the Chair of my Department, the Dean and any relevant University officials.”

Wahlberg believes that her complaint was filed without good reason.

“I don’t think that Professor Anderson was justified in calling the CCSU police over a clearly nonthreatening matter. Although the topic of discussion may have made a few individuals uncomfortable, there was no need to label me as a threat,” Wahlberg said in response. “The actions of Professor Anderson made me so uncomfortable, that I didn’t attend several classes. The only appropriate action taken by the Professor was to excuse my absences.”

The university police were unavailable for comment.

“If you can’t talk about the Second Amendment, what happened to the First Amendment?” asked Sara Adler, president of the Riflery and Marksmanship club on campus. “After all, a university campus is a place for the free and open exchange of ideas.”

How NOT To Convince Republicans To Vote For Your Bill

Robocop's Comment:

I guess the speech did not work. By the way, since the Libtards hold the majority of the house, why could they not pass this bail out bill? Because it was wacked. Finally, the Federal budget deficit had nothing to do with mortgage loans, and bad bank decisions.

You Have Got To Be Kidding

Activists Talk Love, Not War, With Iranian President

Activists from the radical anti-war group CodePink met with the president of Iran in New York on Wednesday, pitching a “peace park” and investment in a bicycle maker as ways to patch relations between the U.S. and the Islamic republic.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in New York to address the U.N. General Assembly, met with CodePink co-founders Jodie Evans and Medea Benjamin and about 150 peace activists at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

During the two-hour meeting, members of CodePink presented the Iranian president with a petition signed by 50 American mayors calling for diplomacy, not war, in dealing with Iran. CodePink wants to take the mayors who signed the petition to Iran to create “sister cities.”

“We’re modeling diplomacy,” Evans said of her meeting with Ahmadinejad.

The group proposed letting artists create a “peace park” in Tehran and suggested making grassroots investments in an Iranian business that makes green and sustainable products like bicycles.

Investing in businesses in Iran violates U.S. sanctions against Iran.

Ahmadinejad told the group that he wants a million Americans to come to Iran, but members of CodePink have had trouble getting visas to visit the country — including Benjamin, who is Jewish.

“I’m sure it’s because she’s a radical activist,” Evans said.

At the meeting, Ahmadinejad said that he would make sure Benjamin could get a visa to visit Iran.

Benjamin has offered public support of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and has spoken out against U.S. sanctions against Cuba. She is also the co-founder of Global Exchange, a group that organizes tours of Venezuelan neighborhoods and Chavez-supporting media outlets.

Evans has given a total $4,600 to the Obama campaign and $1,000 to former Democratic presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich.

Reports in the media have called her a bundler — or someone who uses networking to maximize campaign fundraising — for Obama’s campaign. Evans told FOXNews.com that she has never raised money for Obama, but her husband, Max Palevsky, has been a longtime major fundraiser for the campaign and has supported Obama since he was an Illinois state senator. Palevsky has also given money to the campaigns of Kucinich and to Sen. Christopher Dodd.

Evans said she knows Obama and sees him at public events.

“Every time I see Obama I give him a hard time on his stance on the war,” she said. “There’s no such thing as a good war. I wouldn’t say I’m a supporter. I’m definitely a thorn in his side keeping him on the right path about war.”

Ahmadinejad told the group his dream is that Iran makes friends with the West. He said that if America really didn’t want Iran developing nuclear weapons, the U.S. would have already disarmed Israel.

“He’s really about peace and human rights and respecting justice,” Evans said.

Douche Of The Week 09.22.08

The Winner: Columnist Heather Mallick

The Reason: Calling Palin Supporters "White Trash", and other stupid statements.

The Story:

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is reviewing complaints from both Americans and Canadians about a Web site columnist who recently described Sarah Palin’s supporters as “white trash,” compared the vice presidential candidate to a “porn actress” and called her daughter’s boyfriend a “redneck” and “ratboy.”

The incendiary column by Toronto-based writer Heather Mallick appeared on the CBC News site on Sept. 5, after the close of the Republican National Convention. On the same day, Britain’s Guardian newspaper published another column by Mallick in which she trashed Palin’s home state of Alaska as a “frontier state full of drunks and crazy people.”

In the CBC story, Mallick wrote that John McCain’s running mate “added nothing to the ticket that the Republicans didn’t already have sewn up, the white trash vote.”

She proceeded to write that the Alaska governor “has a toned-down version of the porn actress look favored by this decade’s woman, the overtreated hair, puffy lips and permanently alarmed expression.”

She also questioned why the Palins were allowing Levi Johnston — 17-year-old Bristol Palin’s boyfriend and father of her unborn baby — into the family.

“What normal father would want Levi ‘I’m a f—-n’ redneck’ Johnson prodding his daughter?” Mallick asked.

“I know that I have an attachment to children that verges on the irrational, but why don’t the Palins? I’m not the one preaching homespun values but I’d destroy that ratboy before I’d let him get within scenting range of my daughter again, and so would you. … Turn your guns on Levi, ma’am.”

CBC Ombudsman Vince Carlin told FOXNews.com that he has gotten “quite a few complaints about [the column], both from Canada and the U.S,” and said he’s reviewing its contents to see if it meets CBC’s journalistic standards and practices.

But he noted that Mallick is a “columnist not a journalist.”

CBC spokesman Jeff Keay said Mallick’s column does not reflect the views of CBC or the Canadian government, which owns but does not directly control CBC.

“She’s an opinion columnist. I think by definition they can be expected to occasionally use provocative language,” he said. But in this case, Keay said the column “could be perceived as excessive or offensive to some people.”

Mallick also wrote on the CBC Web site that Republican men, whom she called “sexual inadequates,” must think that women would vote for Palin just because she’s a woman.

In her Guardian column, Mallick claimed her own small-town credentials are just as solid as Palin’s, writing “Palin cannot out-hick me.”

But she said Palin should have stayed in her hometown of Wasilla, writing, “Small towns are places that smart people escape from, for privacy, for variety, for intellect, for survival. Palin should have stayed home.”

Mallick also blasted Alaska as Canada’s ugly stepchild.

“We love our own north to the point of covering our eyes and humming as it melts … but Alaska is different from our north,” she wrote. “We share a 1,500-mile border with a frontier state full of drunks and crazy people, of the blight that cheap-built structures bring to a glorious landscape.

“Alaska is our redneck cousin, our Yukon territory forms a blessed buffer zone, and thank God he never visits. Alaska is the end of the line.”

Robocop's Comment:

Stupid bitch, I am not white, therefore, I am not "white trash". Get it right. Oh, I love the comparison between Mrs. Palin and a porn star. You watch much porn Mizz Mallick? What do you look like? See here. Can you say dead rat? Wrong, that would be insulting to the rats. You are just a jealous beast of a feminazi who could not attract a bus full of convicts, even if you were the last woman on Earth. As for Palin's future son in law, at least he is sticking around. Doing the right thing might be a new concept for your type. If my Black Lab knocked you up, he would neuter himself. He sure as hell would not stick around. Mr. Keay calls you "an opinion columnist". Great. Here is MY opinion. Mizz Mallick is the reason Pro-Choice groups have a right to exist. One look at you, and I think retroactive abortion. Your face, and you mind speak volumes on the need for birth control. A Masters in English Literature does not make you an expert on Palin, rednecks, or the State of Alaska.

Douche Of The Week 08.14.08

The Winner: Josephine Sunshine Overaker

The Reason: Saving the earth by blowing stuff up.

Under the cover of darkness on an October evening in 1996, Josephine Sunshine Overaker began her life as an eco-terrorist, officials said.

The long-haired, vegan activist, sporting a slight moustache, worked at times as a midwife, sheep tender and firefighter, but this night she ignited her own dangerous blaze, officials said.

Along with several other environmental extremists, Overaker slipped into the Willamette National Forest and struck the U.S. Forest Service's station in Detroit, Ore., officials said.

Clad in black, they allegedly left graffiti and burned several Forest Service vehicles before disappearing into the night. Overaker and her cohorts broke the law for a branch of the Earth Liberation Front that called itself "the Family," investigators said.

"Once they did an action, they never went back to that place," FBI Special Agent Timothy Suttles said. "And the people involved in that action would never talk about it, ever."

Two days after the attack in Detroit, investigators said Overaker and fellow extremists struck 140 miles away in Oakridge, planting within another ranger station an incendiary device crudely fashioned from milk jugs and sponges with fuses made of incense sticks. It was designed to ignite the accelerant long after they'd gone, and it worked; they succeeded in burning the Oakridge Ranger Station to the ground.

"They would pick their targets sometimes a year in advance and do significant surveillance, getting the timing down of the guards — if there are any — if there are people there," Suttles said. "Their main thing was that they always claimed they didn’t hurt anybody, so they were very vigilant to make sure they watched a place so that nobody was in there."

It was just by luck, Suttles said, that the forest ranger who often slept overnight at the station was not home at the time of the second attack.

Over the next few years, Overaker took part in seven more actions through 2001, Suttles said — including a massive 1998 blaze at the Vail ski area in Eagle County, Colo., that caused about $12 million in damage, as well as the toppling of a high-voltage tower in Oregon's only Y2K-related disruption.

"They would steal their clothes or get them out of Goodwill, secondhand-type stores — all black," Suttles said. "[They'd] go in at night with police scanners and radios and then afterwards, they’d get rid of their clothes, even sometimes going as far as getting new tires for whatever vehicles they used."

With each arson attack, investigators said, the technology became more and more sophisticated. Five-gallon pails replaced milk jugs and digital timers took the place of incense sticks as members of the Family honed their terrorism skills with weekend seminars on computer encryption and lock-picking, Suttles said.

"They have these small autonomous groups that don’t know each other, and they just go out and commit acts and usually the groups are four or five max," Suttles said. "They don’t use their real names; they use made-up nicknames — codenames — and that’s the way they always refer to each other, and they do that supposedly so when they get arrested, even if they try to cooperate, they can’t."

That silence made it difficult to track down the members, but after a nine-year investigation, federal detectives were able to begin rounding up members of the group. Overaker, however, has managed to elude authorities.

Raised on the West Coast and fluent in Spanish, Overaker is believed to be living abroad.

"Spain has a huge commune-type area and so, at least we’ve been told from the National Police there, it would be a good place for her to be if she was [wanted] anywhere in the world," Suttles said.

Officials said the non-meat-eating activist still may be a vegan and may have gone back to her work as a firefighter, midwife, sheep tender — or even masseuse, officials said.

"She’s a very good shoplifter, which all these people were," Suttles said. "That’s how they got all their material to build these devices, by shoplifting."

Overaker is 5-foot-3, 130 pounds with brown hair and eyes. She has several distinctive tattoos, including a large bird across her back. Her aliases included Lisa Rachelle Quintana, Maria Rachelle Quintana, "Osha," "Jo," "China," "Josie" and "Mo."

She faces numerous federal and local arson-related charges in connection with the destruction of government and private property and her alleged participation in eco-terrorism. If convicted, she could face life in prison.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact the FBI at 202-324-3000.

Robocop's Comment: Oh yea, fire bombs are GREAT for the environment.
