A Half Victory For Gun Rights

The United States Supreme Court actually did a good thing today by striking down the Washington, DC Gun Ban. More importantly, the court confirmed that the Second Amendment applies to the right of an INDIVIDUAL to possess a gun. Gone are the days of Liberal douche bags jamming the "It applies to the National Guard only" bullshit.

So why do I regard this as a half victory? Because this ruling did not go far enough to overturn the 20,000 or so ridiculous gun laws that are already in the books. This will have the Liberal scum still nibbling our rights slowly away.

But I'll take a half victory over no victory at all.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
