This blog may be young, but there are plenty of candidates for the first annual "Douche Of The Year" award.
Here they are in chronological order:
July 2007 Douche of the Month-Jack McClellan
August 2007 Douche Of The Month-A. Whitney Brown
September 2007 Douche Of The Month-9/11 Conspirists
October 2007 Douche Of The Month-La Raza
November 2007 Douche Of The Month-Lori Drew
December 2007 Douche Of The Month-David Hicks
**Note-Due to holiday activities, I never had a chance to make a December Douche Of The Month post. But it is safe to say a traitor makes it most of the time**
Now for Douche Of The Year, I am going to do something different. I am going to let the readers decide, FROM THE LIST ABOVE, who should be the first Douche of the Year. No anonymous posters in this one. I'll give it until the middle of January, 2008 before I count the vote by posts. No polling set up in this one. I actually want to see the votes. IMHO, they all deserve it, but to keep up with the spirit of competition, which Libtards hate, there can only be one winner. Let the games begin!
PS- Happy New Year as we enter the YEAR OF OUR LORD, 2008.

Douche Of The Week 12.28.07
This week's "Douche Of The Week" is David Hicks from Australia, AND his supporters.
Australian Guantanamo Convict Released
ADELAIDE, Australia - An Australian who fought with the Taliban and later pleaded guilty to supporting terrorism was freed from prison Saturday, after completing a sentence imposed by a U.S. military tribunal at Guantanamo Bay.
David Hicks, who was captured in Afghanistan in December 2001, served more than five years at Guantanamo prison before pleading guilty to providing material support to al-Qaida. He was sent to Australia in March to serve out his sentence.
The 32-year-old former kangaroo skinner was released Saturday morning from South Australia state's Yatala prison. He was met by his father and lawyer and driven away in a civilian car with a police escort.
Dozens of reporters and around 20 supporters gathered to catch a glimpse of the confessed Taliban gunman, who was taken to a secret location.
Hicks did not stop to comment. But Hicks' father, Terry, and lawyer David McLeod later read a short statement in which Hicks thanked his family, friends and legal advocates.
In the statement, Hicks said he recognized "the huge debt of gratitude" he owed his supporters for helping to secure his release.
"I will not forget or let you down," he said.
Hicks refused to speak to the media directly for fear of being sent back to Guantanamo Bay. Under his plea deal, Hicks agreed to remain silent about his time in custody and treatment and also forfeited any right to appeal his conviction. He agreed not to speak with the news media for a year from his sentencing date.
"It is my intention to honor this agreement as I don't want to do anything that might result in my return there," Hicks said in the statement.
Terry Hicks told reporters on Friday that his son would apologize for any wrongdoing he committed while in Afghanistan, but the statement contained no such apology. Asked about the omission, Terry Hicks said his son had served his time and had nothing to be sorry about.
During his incarceration at Guantanamo Bay, Hicks became somewhat of a cause celebrity in Australia, where many activists and outspoken politicians criticized former Prime Minister John Howard for allowing an Australian to languish for years in a foreign jail without trial.
Around 20 supporters cheered at Hicks' release Saturday and held up signs that read, "Hicks is not a threat," an apparent reference to a recent court order allowing the government to place strict controls on the 32-year-old's movements.
Last week, a federal magistrate ruled that Hicks was a security risk because of the training he acknowledged receiving in terrorist camps in Afghanistan. The court was told he met al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden at least 20 times, describing him as a "lovely brother" in letters home.
The magistrate ordered Hicks to report to police three times a week and obey a curfew by staying indoors at premises to be agreed on by police. Other restrictions include that he not leave Australia or contact a list of terror suspects. The restrictions will last for one year.
Throughout his ordeal, Hicks' lawyers referred to their client as a misguided adventurer who only traveled to Afghanistan because his application to join the Australian army had been rejected due to his lack of education. Terry Hicks has regularly maintained his son's innocence, saying he never intended to do anyone harm.
Hicks' family and lawyers have said he is suffering from psychological problems related to his long detention at Guantanamo Bay, but that he is now focused on finding a job to fund university courses in environmental studies. Now that his sentence is over, they say Hicks just wants to lead a normal life.
The only other Australian to be sent to Guantanamo Bay was Mamdouh Habib, who was detained in Pakistan in October 2001 and released in January 2005 after officials found there was insufficient evidence to lay charges.
Robocop's Comment:
Mr. Hicks is a TRAITOR to his country, and an enemy of ours. His supporters support Islamic Terrorists, and applaud the events of 9/11. As an enemy combatant taken without a uniform, his rights under the rules of war stack up to dried shit. He should have been killed by slow torture, or shot at the very least. Since his family supports him with all their heart, they do not deserve to spawn any further.

A Christmas Story
1 In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that the whole empire should be registered.
2 This first registration took place while Quirinius was governing Syria.
3 So everyone went to be registered, each to his own town.
4 And Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family line of David,
5 to be registered along with Mary, who was engaged to him and was pregnant.
6 While they were there, the time came for her to give birth.
7 Then she gave birth to her firstborn Son, and she wrapped Him snugly in cloth and laid Him in a feeding trough—because there was no room for them at the inn.
8 In the same region, shepherds were staying out in the fields and keeping watch at night over their flock.
9 Then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.
10 But the angel said to them, "Don't be afraid, for look, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people:
11 today a Savior, who is Messiah the Lord, was born for you in the city of David.
12 This will be the sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped snugly in cloth and lying in a manger."
13 Suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying:
14 Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and peace on earth to people He favors!
15 When the angels had left them and returned to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go straight to Bethlehem and see what has happened, which the Lord has made known to us."
16 They hurried off and found both Mary and Joseph, and the baby who was lying in the feeding trough.
17 After seeing [them], they reported the message they were told about this child,
18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.
19 But Mary was treasuring up all these things in her heart and meditating on them. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had seen and heard, just as they had been told.

Family Attorney Says He'll Sue Insurance Company That Initially Denied 17-Year-Old Girl a Liver Transplant
The family of a 17-year-old girl who died hours after her health insurer reversed a decision and said it would pay for a liver transplant plans to sue the company, their attorney said Friday.
Nataline Sarkisyan died Thursday at about 6 p.m. at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center. She had been in a vegetative state for weeks, said her mother, Hilda.
"She passed away, and the insurance (company) is responsible for this," she said.
Nataline had been battling leukemia and received a bone marrow transplant from her brother. She developed a complication that caused her liver to fail.
Doctors at UCLA determined she needed a transplant and sent a letter to Cigna Corp.'s Cigna HealthCare on Dec. 11. The Philadelphia-based health insurance company denied payment for the transplant, saying the procedure was experimental and outside the scope of coverage.
On Thursday, about 150 teenagers and nurses protested outside Cigna's office in Glendale. As the protesters rallied, the company reversed its decision and said it would approve the transplant.
Despite the reversal, CIGNA said in an e-mail statement before she died that there was a lack of medical evidence showing the procedure would work in Nataline's case.
"Our hearts go out to Nataline and her family, as they endure this terrible ordeal," the company said. " ... CIGNA HealthCare has decided to make an exception in this rare and unusual case and we will provide coverage should she proceed with the requested liver transplant."
Officials with CIGNA could not immediately be reached for comment Thursday night.
Robocop's Comment:
This is happening way too many times. HMO's/Insurance Companies are making MEDICAL decisions. For killing too many people for refusing the service that they PAID for through premiums, CIGNA Healthcare is the "Douche Of The Week". To be honest, CIGNA just represents the real Douche Of The Week, the Health Insurance Industry. They are a runaway train, which follows a course with NO consequences to fear. This is immoral. Behavior like this will even get demands of government control from conservatives like myself. Why? Because I am a human being. May those claims adjusters have a shitty Christmas.
YAY! Another Year Closer To DEATH
Sometime around March of 1966, my Father forgot to put on a condom. My mother chose not to terminate the pregnancy. Nine months later, four days before Christmas, the product of their decision was born.
So here I am, forty one years later, still reflecting on their choice. I have successfully completed my first year as a middle aged man, but not without its hitches. The stroke I had should have served as a wake up call, to what, I do not know. I am just here. No parades, no tv specials, and not much to show for not dying. So I hereby resolve to complete yet another year of my life, another year closer to death. Cheers to my family, and my friends, both IRL, and on the net. Praise the Lord for giving me another chance to clear up my mistakes, and perhaps even to serve some hidden purpose. Here's to life, this one, and the next.

Fun Monday 12.17.07
This weeks Fun Monday is being hosted by Kitten. This weeks assignment:
Well, Debs pretty much took care of the actual history of our housing development. My neighborhood was part of the Fort Wolters military reservation. The actual house we live in was part of the "officer housing."
Below is a picture of a typical house in the neighborhood. I do not yet have a camera, so I could not get a pic of our actual house, but they are all basically the same.
I have no clue regarding the origin of our street name. How we got there was a matter of economic necessity. I just started working the local prison, and current gas prices did not permit us to live in our old town. The old town was full of snobby wannabees anyway. My only memories of our current house are just that, current.
Today for Fun Monday I thought it would be neat to hear about the story behind your home and the road you live on. It doesn't have to be historical, maybe just something that stands out to you. It would be nice to have pictures to go with your little story. I also would like to know who has the oldest house. Whoever has the oldest house will get a little Christmas treat from little ole me.

It Takes Only One Atheist
Fury at Plano city plan to flip bricks engraved with crosses
Robocop's Comment:
Why do they ignore the protests of a group of Christians to satisfy the complaint of ONE atheist? The bricks were bought, paid for, and displayed with no problems until one asshole complained. I bet that same dork has no problems exchanging Christmas presents. May he or she have a shitty "holiday."
A brick walkway at the Tom Muehlenbeck Recreation Center in Plano sparked a legal battle between the city and a small group of families. The fight comes after the city overturned eight bricks on the 150-plus brick walkway which were engraved with Christian crosses.
Melissa Hawley bought several bricks at a fundraiser earlier this year to help the swim and dive teams. She bought three of them for her children, at a cost of $100 each. The inscriptions include her kids’ names and a cross. She was shocked when the city made the decision to turn them over about a month ago. She contacted the Plano-based religious organization, Liberty Legal Institute. The organization sent a letter to city leaders, demanding the city to make the change.
According to the Plano City Attorney, John Gilliam, one person complained about the bricks. Gilliam told News 8, that staff looked at the legal issue for about a week and a half and this Thursday decided to flip the bricks, exposing the crosses. Gilliam pointed out that all the bricks on the walkway can stay, but no more symbols will be allowed on future brick purchases.

Desperation
desperation-n-1. The condition of being desperate.
2. Recklessness arising from despair.
See:
Hillary Clinton.
Robocop's Comment:
Hillary Clinton must really fear Sen. Barack Obama. In a very short time, her campaign has highlighted two "very important" facts about her greatest Democratic rival.
Excessive Ambition- "In kindergarten, Senator Obama wrote an essay titled 'I Want to Become President.' "Iis Darmawan, 63, Senator Obama's kindergarten teacher, remembers him as an exceptionally tall and curly haired child who quickly picked up the local language and had sharp math skills. He wrote an essay titled, 'I Want To Become President,' the teacher said."
Obama Is A Doper- "A top adviser to Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign said Wednesday that Democrats should give more thought to Sen. Barack Obama's admissions of illegal drug use before they pick a presidential candidate."
Now do I care about how Clinton is slamming on Obama? Nope.
Do I appreciate Clinton's "efforts" to bring her brand of ethics to the White House? Again, no.
Here's how I look at it:
Two loose hyenas are approaching the barn that I have stocked with food over the summer months. I am unarmed. Before they invite themselves into my barn, they start tearing each other to pieces. Eventually, they either kill each other off, or weaken themselves to a point where they can't take my hard earned food.
In this case, all I can say is: "You go Hillary/You go Obama." You still have way too much energy.
Note: No actual hyenas were harmed in making this post. Insulted, maybe.
Douche Of The Week 12.12.07
"I'm coming for EVERYONE soon and I WILL be armed to the @#%$ teeth and I WILL shoot to kill. ...God, I can't wait till I can kill you people. Feel no remorse, no sense of shame, I don't care if I live or die in the shoot-out. All I want to do is kill and injure as many of you ... as I can especially Christians who are to blame for most of the problems in the world."
What idiot comes up with a quote like this? What waste of flesh would actually quote one of the Columbine shooters as a reference to things he would be doing? What kind of oxygen thief frequents an anti-Christian forum?
The answer is simple. We are talking about today's "Douche Of The Week" Matthew Murray, the Colorado Church Shooter. The same guy who got kicked out of the Youth With a Mission program three years ago, and kept sending regular hate messages to them ever since. The Youth With a Mission training center was his first target. New Life Church was his final target, where he was stopped by Jeanne Assam. Mr. Murray was such a coward that after Ms. Assam's gunfire took him down, he put a bullet in his own head, removing himself from this world's justice system, but placing himself in front of a much worse fate.
He missed one important point in his life before he did all of this. God caused his dismissal from the mission program for a reason. God had another plan for him. Instead of going with it, he made himself available to do the Devil's bidding.
For becoming an instrument of Satan, Matthew Murray is awarded "Douche Of The Week", postumusly.

Church Shooting Hero
Guard's hands "didn't even shake" as she shot gunman
COLORADO SPRINGS — Amid deafening cracks of gunfire, smoke-spewing canisters and the flight of thousands of New Life Church members, Jeanne Assam said she suddenly saw the hallways clear and a gunman come through the door.
"I took cover. I identified myself. I engaged him. I took him down," the 42-year-old former law officer and volunteer church security guard said Monday at a news conference in the Colorado Springs police station.
"I just said, 'Holy Spirit, be with me.' I wasn't even shaking," Assam said. "I give the credit to God. I say this very humbly. God was with me."
Assam, a member of New Life for only a few months, admitted she had been without sleep since Sunday's midday shootings at Colorado's largest church.
The episode left two injured and ended the lives of two teen sisters and the gunman, 24-year-old Matthew Murray.
Police declined to confirm Monday whether Assam's weapon, which she reportedly emptied in the exchange, inflicted Murray's fatal wound or whether it was self-inflicted.
Police also wouldn't describe how close Assam had been to Murray or exactly where they were in New Life's long hallway.
The church's senior pastor, Brady Boyd, said Assam was a real hero to him and to the whole church. He said she acted as his personal bodyguard.
"We will be holding a funeral for two very precious young women who were shot and killed on our campus," Brady said. "Three people are needlessly dead, but many more lives could have been lost."
Church spokesman Rob Brendle called Assam's clear-eyed, swift action the "good news" of that horrible day.
"It was scary," Assam said at the news conference. "I tell you it was scary. It was loud. I'll never forget. The gunshots were so loud."
Assam said she had drawn her weapon countless times in her prior law enforcement career, but she had never shot anyone until Sunday.
"I was very focused. I knew what I had to do," she said. "It was it just seemed like me, the gunman and God."
Assam, single and without children, has been working three months for an educational ministry called Messengers International, run by John and Lisa Bevere in Colorado Springs.
Assam said she had just ended a three-day fast Sunday. During the fasting she prayed and asked God to help her decide what to do with her future and whether she should work again in law enforcement.
"I was weak," she said. "God made me strong. What was going through my mind is how awesome God is."
She said she loves law enforcement, but she still doesn't have her answer about her future.
"I'm going to continue to pray about it," Assam said.
Sgt. Jess Garcia III, the public-information officer for the Minneapolis Police Department, said Assam left his police department in the late 1990s.
He said during her time there she worked in North Minneapolis, the busiest crime area of the city, as well as in downtown Minneapolis.
"Some of the training she received here apparently helped her," Garcia said. "She did a great job."
He said he knew her during her time in Minneapolis.
"I thought she had a great personality and always got along with everybody," Garcia said.
Robocop's Comment:
Jeanne Assam, God was truly with you that day. For protecting the people of your Church with total disregard for your own safety, I call you hero.
UPDATE: The gunman shot himself in the head after she took him down with her weapon. Either way, she still saved lives by being there to stop the bastard.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEBS!
Four score and 29 years (again) ago, my wife Debs was born. Happy 29th (cough) Birthday honey! In her 29 years, she has seen alot. Perhaps the event that changed her life was the ministry of Jesus. She was there.**LOL** Just kidding. Just glad your Mommy went through the pain and suffering to have you. I love you honey!

Psalm 144
1 Blessed be the LORD my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
2 My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.
3 LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!
4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.
5 Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.
6 Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them.
7 Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
8 Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
9 I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.
10 It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.
11 Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:
12 That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:
13 That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:
14 That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets.
15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.

Mall Shooting-A Small Missing Fact
Media Coverage of Mall Shooting Fails to Reveal Mall's Gun-Free-Zone Status
The horrible tragedy at the Westroads Mall in Omaha, Neb. received a lot of attention Wednesday and Thursday. It should have. Eight people were killed, and five were wounded.
A Google news search using the phrase "Omaha Mall Shooting" finds an incredible 2,794 news stories worldwide for the last day. From India and Taiwan to Britain and Austria, there are probably few people in the world who haven’t heard about this tragedy.
But despite the massive news coverage, none of the media coverage, at least by 10 a.m. Thursday, mentioned this central fact: Yet another attack occurred in a gun-free zone.
Surely, with all the reporters who appear at these crime scenes and seemingly interview virtually everyone there, why didn’t one simply mention the signs that ban guns from the premises?
Nebraska allows people to carry permitted concealed handguns, but it allows property owners, such as the Westroads Mall, to post signs banning permit holders from legally carrying guns on their property.
The same was true for the attack at the Trolley Square Mall in Utah in February (a copy of the sign at the mall can be seen here). But again the media coverage ignored this fact. Possibly the ban there was even more noteworthy because the off-duty police officer who stopped the attack fortunately violated the ban by taking his gun in with him when he went shopping.
Yet even then, the officer "was at the opposite end and on a different floor of the convoluted Trolley Square complex when the shooting began. By the time he became aware of the shooting and managed to track down and confront Talovic [the killer], three minutes had elapsed."
There are plenty of cases every year where permit holders stop what would have been multiple victim shootings every year, but they rarely receive any news coverage. Take a case this year in Memphis, where WBIR-TV reported a gunman started "firing a pistol beside a busy city street" and was stopped by two permit holders before anyone was harmed.
When will part of the media coverage on these multiple-victim public shootings be whether guns were banned where the attack occurred? While the media has begun to cover whether teachers can have guns at school or the almost 8,000 college students across the country who protested gun-free zones on their campuses, the media haven’t started checking what are the rules where these attacks occur.
Surely, the news stories carry detailed information on the weapon used (in this case, a rifle) and the number of ammunition clips (apparently, two). But if these aspects of the story are deemed important for understanding what happened, why isn’t it also important that the attack occurred where guns were banned? Isn’t it important to know why all the victims were disarmed?
Few know that Dylan Klebold, one of the two Columbine killers, closely was following Colorado legislation that would have allowed citizens to carry a concealed handgun. Klebold strongly opposed the legislation and openly talked about it.
No wonder, as the bill being debated would have allowed permitted guns to be carried on school property. It is quite a coincidence that he attacked the Columbine High School the very day the legislature was scheduled to vote on the bill.
Despite the lack of news coverage, people are beginning to notice what research has shown for years: Multiple-victim public shootings keep occurring in places where guns already are banned. Forty states have broad right-to-carry laws, but even within these states it is the "gun-free zones," not other public places, where the attacks happen.
People know the list: Virginia Tech saw 32 murdered earlier this year; the Columbine High School shooting left 13 murdered in 1999; Luby's Cafeteria in Killeen, Texas, had 23 who were fatally shot by a deranged man in 1991; and a McDonald's in Southern California had 21 people shot dead by an unemployed security guard in 1984.
All these attacks — indeed, all attacks involving more than a small number of people being killed — happened in gun-free zones.
In recent years, similar attacks have occurred across the world, including in Australia, France, Germany and Britain. Do all these countries lack enough gun-control laws? Hardly. The reverse is more accurate.
The law-abiding, not criminals, are obeying the rules. Disarming the victims simply means that the killers have less to fear. As Wednesday's attack demonstrated yet again, police are important, but they almost always arrive at the crime scene after the crime has occurred.
The longer it takes for someone to arrive on the scene with a gun, the more people who will be harmed by such an attack.
Most people understand that guns deter criminals. If a killer were stalking your family, would you feel safer putting a sign out front announcing, "This Home Is a Gun-Free Zone"? But that is what the Westroads Mall did.
Robocop's Comment:
And this should surprise us how? The general media (aka: Liberal) will NEVER highlight any anti-gun mistake that caused a loss of life. I watched Good Morning America, where the reporter on scene ranted on about the "assault weapon controversy" which pretty much died off. Hell, they can't even get their weapons right. First, he identified the rifle used in the crime as an "SKS" assault rifle. Newsflash: An SKS Model 1945 is NOT an assault rifle. It looks mean to the Libtards, but that's about it. An assault rifle has the capability to fire fully automatic. While this reporter was going on his rant, the network displayed a lever action rifle (like a Winchester) as an SKS. What a bunch of dumbasses.

Ten Reasons...
...Why Islam Is NOT The Religion Of Peace
**Taken from TheReligionOfPeace.com**
**Taken from TheReligionOfPeace.com**
#1 10,000 deadly terror attacks committed explicitly in the name of Islam in just the last six years. (Other religions combined for perhaps a dozen or so).
#2 Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, had people killed for insulting him or criticizing his religion. This included women. Muslims are told to emulate the example of Muhammad.
#3 Muhammad said in many places that he has been "ordered by Allah to fight men until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is his messenger." In the last nine years of his life, he ordered no less than 65 military campaigns to do exactly that.
Muhammad inspired his men to war with the basest of motives, using captured loot, sex and a gluttonous paradise as incentives. He beheaded captives, enslaved children and raped women captured in battle. Again, Muslims are told to emulate the example of Muhammad.
#4 After Muhammad died, the people who lived with him, and knew his religion best, immediately fell into war with each other.
Muhammad's favorite daughter, Fatima, and her husband, Ali (the second convert to Islam, who was raised like a son to Muhammad) fought a war against an army raised by Aisha, Muhammad's favorite wife - and one whom he had said was the "perfect woman."
Not only was her husband, Ali, eventually murdered, but Fatima (who survived the early years at Mecca safe and sound) died of stress from the persecution of fellow Muslims only three months after her father died.
Three of the first four Muslim rulers (caliphs) were murdered. All of them were among Muhammad's closest companions. The third caliph was killed by the son of the first. The fourth caliph was killed by the fifth, who subsequently poisoned one of Muhammad's two favorite grandsons. Muhammad's other grandson was later beheaded by the sixth caliph.
Within 50 years, the Kaaba, which had stood for centuries under pagan religion, lay in ruins from internal Muslim war.
#5 Muhammad directed Muslims to wage war on other religions and bring them under submission to Islam. Within the first few decades following his death, his Arabian companions invaded and conquered Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist and Zoroastrian lands.
#6 Muslims continued their Jihad against other religions for 1400 years, checked only by the ability of non-Muslims to defend themselves. To this day, not a week goes by that Islamic fundamentalists do not attempt to kill Christians, Jews, Hindus and Buddhists explicitly in the name of Allah.
None of these other religions are at war with each other.
#7 Islam is the only religion that has to retain its membership by threatening to kill anyone who leaves. This is according to the example set by Muhammad.
#8 Islam teaches that non-Muslims are less than fully human. Muhammad said that Muslims can be put to death for murder, but that a Muslim could never be put to death for killing a non-Muslim.
#9 The Qur'an never once speaks of Allah's love for non-Muslims, but it speaks of Allah's cruelty toward and hatred of non-Muslims more than 500 times.
#10 "Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar!"

It Sucks To Be Hugo Chavez
It looks like Hugo Chavez will be doing the college lecture circuit in the near future.
Chavez Vote Defeat Tests His Venezuela Revolution
President Hugo Chavez crashed to an unprecedented vote defeat on Monday as Venezuelans rejected his bid to run for re-election indefinitely and accelerate his socialist revolution in the OPEC nation.
Despite an oil-financed, state-backed campaign, Chavez narrowly failed to muster enough support for a constitutional reform package that would have scrapped term limits on his rule and given him broad new powers.
The U.S. government, opposition groups and investors cheered a defeat that curbs for now his plan to control foreign currency reserves, erode private property rights and enshrine socialism as a state priority in the constitution.
Venezuelan debt prices jumped on Monday, helped by Chavez's defeat and a concession speech that was unusually conciliatory. The country's currency and debt prices had both fallen sharply in recent weeks on fears that a victory for the anti-U.S. leader would both increase tensions in Venezuela and lead him to intensify his assault on "evil" capitalism.
Election officials said the "No" camp won with about 51 percent of the vote against the reform package, while Chavez scored around 49 percent support.
Chavez quickly accepted defeat and called for calm. The fiery leftist, who remains popular and powerful, said the people had spoken and he heard them, but he also pledged to find another way to pass his reform plans.
"I will not withdraw even one comma of this proposal, this proposal is still alive," he said. "For me, this is not a defeat."
Along with the controversial measures expanding his powers, his package also included popular moves -- especially among his poor support base -- to reduce the workday to six hours and give pensions to street vendors and housewives.
DICTATORSHIP
Student protests spearheaded an opposition campaign with rights and business groups, opposition parties, the Roman Catholic Church all lined up against him. They accused him of pushing the constitutional reforms to set up a dictatorship.
The U.S. government has branded Chavez a menace to democracy in Latin America and welcomed his defeat.
"We felt that this referendum was a referendum to make Chavez president-for-life, and that's not ever a welcome development in a country that wants to be a democracy," Nicholas Burns, the U.S. undersecretary of state for political affairs, told reporters in Singapore.
One of Venezuela's leading opposition newspapers, El Nacional, dubbed the result the "First Victory" on Monday.
"Apart from shelving a package of undesirable reforms indefinitely, the defeat should revitalize the opposition," Gianfranco Bertozzi of Lehman Brothers said.
But opposition groups still have to overcome divisions that Chavez, a former paratrooper, had exploited to win all previous national votes since he swept to power in a 1998 election.
"This does not represent a dramatic turnaround for the political opposition, they still have a long way to go," said Patrick Esteruelas, Latin America analyst at Eurasia Group.
"What was really lost? Chavez still wakes up in the presidency, with tight control over the institutions and with no major figure to challenge him," he said.
Some said Chavez has also burnished his democratic credentials by quickly accepting defeat.
Recalling a phrase he used after leading a failed military coup in 1992, the former paratrooper said he had fallen short "for now" and vowed to push ahead with a socialist revolution that has already seen him nationalize parts of the economy.
Chavez is buoyed by high world oil prices that allow him to finance popular social programs and backers control Congress, the courts and Venezuela's electoral authority.
But he can no longer count on a majority of Venezuelans backing him. Even some supporters, including one allied party and a former defense minister who helped return him to power after a 2002 coup bid, split with him over the proposals they branded undemocratic.
"He is certainly going to have to slow down and reassess. He is no longer in the position to do what he wants," said Riordan Roett, director of Latin American studies at Johns Hopkins University in Washington.

Douche Of The Month November 2007
The month of November was rich in candidates for "Douche Of The Month."
Ward Churchill was that socialist retard that equated 911 victims with nazis. He will always be a douche, and one who is no longer employed to actually teach a serious class.
The People's Republic Of China, despite of being a national security threat and, the maker of deadly toys, does have some awesome grub, as long as it does not bark, or use a liter box.
Joy Behar will always be a whiny Libtard, which is part of the entertainment for those "View" fans. She serves a purpose.
Lori Drew is that bitch who induced the suicide of 13 year old Megan Meier with impunity. There is nothing positive I can say about this woman, or her family.
Kimberly Trenor and Royce Zeigler are that lovely couple who beat to death a two year old little girl, and then disposed of her body. The good news, this was done in Texas, which has the most aggressive death penalty program in the Union. They at least face hard justice.
To be honest, November's award would have been split between Lori Drew, and the Zeiglers, but at least the Zeiglers will suffer the consequences of their actions. Lori Drew faces NOTHING. For this very fact, Lori Drew is awarded November 2007's "Douche Of The Month."

Back To School
I was recently tagged for a meme by Crown Princess.
Ok, here's the list:
911 101: After working as a dispatcher i REALLY wish this course was offered. To call into the EMERGENCY operator because you want to know if it is safe to drive from Amarillo to Tulia during the Tornado Watch is NOT acceptable. Nor is calling into report you are unhappy with the quality of the ILLEGAL drugs you just purchased.
Applied Mathematics For Inmates: Learn how to calculate the profit you would make from throwing contraband over a prison fence. Be one step ahead of that gang associated "insurance collector" by figuring out how many 19 cent Ramen Noodle packs will equal a week's worth of protection money. Prerequisite: Home Ec for Thugs.
Low Income Housing Survival Skills: Learn how to lite the pilot light of that out of code/red tagged furnace in your home. Course includes how to cannibalize that recently vacant housing unit next door for spare parts like door knobs, a/c units, and plumbing fixtures. This course is required before taking How to Litigate Against Slum Lords.
Reality Small Town Living: Surviving as a new resident in a "close knit" community can be trying at times. Learn how to buy yourself into the most influential church in the town. Explore the alternatives to welfare living by agreeing to work for a substandard employer. Gain the knowledge needed to navigate through a good ole boy form of government. Related Course:Finding the best police department that money can buy.
Wal Mart-The Ritual: There is a high chance that Wal Mart is the only store left in town. Everyone else was either closed down, or ran out. Learn the most time efficient methods to used during that "weekly supply run". Learn to identify what is the "safe time zone" to shop there before the freaks come out of the woodwork just to hang out at Wal Mart. Avoid getting assaulted by the infamous greeter when that stupid sensor detector sounds an alarm as you attempt to exit the store with items you really paid for. Prerequisite: Extreme Monopoly
I have no clue who to tag for this one.
Rules: Devise a list of 5-10 courses you would take to fix your life. It's more fun to be in classes with friends, so include one class from the person who tagged you that you'd also like to take. Tag five.
